The 28-hectare Singapore Zoo, also known as the Singapore Zoological Gardens, is the perfect place to get up close with native and exotic animals in naturalists, open exhibits. Along with housing the largest colony of orangutans in the world, Singapore Zoo boasts a king cobra, tree kangaroos, mountain lions and flamingos.
Don’t miss the regular daily shows happening throughout Singapore Zoo, such as the Splash Safari Show, which features California sea lions performing tricks. You can also see the Elephants at Work and Play Show, where you’re transported to the heart of the Burmese to watch these incredible creatures lift and push giant logs, play dead and steal food from the keeper.

Getting there
Singapore Zoo is about 20 minutes’ drive from the centre of Singapore and almost 35 minutes’ drive from Changi Airport Singapore. You can also catch the North-South MRT line to five stations with connecting buses, catch a direct bus from the city or book the Mandai Khatib Shuttle.
