Explore Punggol’s scenic waterways, starting with the Punggol Waterway Park, which offers walking and bicycling paths, children’s playgrounds and splash zones beside the water. Follow the Punggol Promenade Nature Walk to Punggol Point Jetty, where you can see all the way across to Malaysia.
For more outdoor recreation, head over to PAR Golf Driving Range positioned on the Punggol Serangoon Reservoir. The nearby Riviera Prawn Fishing lets you hire fishing rods to catch prawns from the Punggol Promenade Riverside Walk. Afterwards, you can cook up your catch on the communal barbecues or dine on grilled seafood and meats at Frienzie Bar & Bistro or Uncle Leong Seafood.
Punggol Plaza is a retail haven known for entertaining children’s toys at Dreamworld, Asian-style eateries in the food court and electronics at Novel Communications. For international fashion labels, head over to Waterway Point shopping mall, which features H&M, Skechers, Esprit, Lovisa and Cotton On.
Coney Island Park is a prominent part of Punggol, renowned for its variety of natural habitats filled with unique wildlife, including over 80 species of birds. Take a guided walk to learn about the biodiversity and discover the island’s sustainability methods. About a 10-minute drive from Punggol is Yishun Dam, where you can snap incredible photos of Lower Seletar Reservoir and Seletar Island.
