Begin your Bukit Panjang holiday around the Bt Panjang Market shopping mall, which has a range of beauty and fashion stores, as well as a giant supermarket with exotic foods. Around the shopping mall, you’ll find the elaborate Bak Sua Siah Boo Temple and the Masjid Al-Iman mosque.
Want to indulge in some local flavours? Make a beeline for Bukit Panjang Plaza, which pairs Eastern restaurants and cafes with budget-friendly department stores. Go for casual Singaporean cuisine at Streats, delicious ramen at Wang Cafe or authentic Indonesian fare at Punggol Nasi Padang. Treat yourself afterwards to some soft-serve ice cream at Milk and Honey.
The nearby Pang Sua Pond is perfect for a leisurely stroll or picnic, while Zhenghua Park’s forested walking trails are excellent for immersing yourself in local nature. However, for some of the best flora and fauna in Singapore, head to Dairy Farm Nature Park, home to an educational centre, bicycling and walking trails and numerous species of dragonfly.

Bukit Panjang is positioned close to Singapore’s two major highways and also boasts SMRT Buses, a Light Rail Transit system and a relatively new MRT station, giving you multiple options for getting around and reaching other towns further afield.
