The Sea Life Sydney Aquarium is an underwater wonderland filled with sharks, rays and rainbow-coloured fish. The aquarium is home to more than 13,000 sea creatures and features crystalline tanks and large pools with transparent walk-through tunnels.
As you explore the aquarium, you'll pass through 12 themed zones inspired by marine ecosystems from across Australia. Don't miss the kaleidoscopic Great Barrier Reef tank brimming with colourful coral, sea turtles, sharks and tropical fish. The Dugong Island enclosure gets you up close with marine mammals that were rescued from a Queensland beach.
Unique experiences include a short boat ride through the penguin enclosure, while adrenalin seekers can sign up for the Shark Dive Xtreme scuba diving experience. Educational talks and activities offer more information on the unique animals that live at the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium. The Gift Store stocks plush toys, t-shirts and ocean-inspired souvenirs.
