Sea World Gold Coast is Australia's largest marine theme park, located on the Gold Coast's Main Beach in South Queensland. It offers a variety of rides, animal shows, marine exhibits, and interactive marine attractions. The majority of these are tailored towards children and Sea World Gold Coast is one of South Queensland's most popular family destinations.
The Sea World Monorail transports visitors around the distinctive parts of the theme park. A series of children's rides are found at Beach Break Bay and Castaway Bay. Dolphin and seal performance shows run throughout the day, along with a jet ski stunt show on the lake. At various exhibits, visitors can view polar bears, penguins, dolphins, sting rays, sharks, and sea lions.
The theme park is commercially linked with Warner Bros. Movie World, along with the Wet 'n' Wild Gold Coast and Paradise Country theme parks. Open passes to visit all these attractions are available, along with day tickets to Sea World.
Sea World is a 20-minute drive north of Surfers Paradise, just off the Gold Coast Highway. It's a 45-minute drive south from Brisbane. Car parking is free outside the front entrance.
