Bring the kids to the Esplanade for fun at Sea Life Sunshine Coast Aquarium, a marine mammal park, oceanarium and wildlife sanctuary. Underwater tunnels, shark dives and sea creature feedings highlight any visit. At the Mooloolaba marina you can rent jet skis and kayaks or book a fishing expedition and whale-watching cruise.
Walk to the Mooloolaba Spit jutting out into the ocean, offering a tranquil spot for swimming and snorkelling. Feel like getting wet? Don some scuba gear and join a diving expedition to the sunken EX HMAS Brisbane, a decommissioned guided missile destroyer located less than six kilometres offshore.
