Things to do in Noosaville
Grab a bite to eat at one of the eclectic cafes or seafood restaurants that line the waterfront on Gympie Terrace. Thomas Street runs perpendicular and is another popular “eat street”, with both contemporary Australian and international cuisine available.
For some of the best shopping the Sunshine Coast has to offer, head east to trendy Hastings Street. Shop for designer resort wear and one-of-a-kind local creations or pick up a unique piece of artwork in one of the many galleries.
Hastings Street leads towards the idyllic sands of Noosa’s Main Beach, which is the heart of all the coastal action. Swim, surf or just soak up the sun, then take a stroll through the adjacent Noosa National Park famed for koala sightings.
Golfers should make a point of visiting Noosa Springs, an upmarket golf resort on the edge of Lake Weyba. This 18-hole championship course is considered one of the best in Australia and set around lush pockets of rainforest.
