The two lakes on either side of Toukley are perfect for swimming, canoeing, water skiing, sailboarding and stand-up paddleboarding. Toukley is ideally positioned to visit the Central Coast’s top attractions, such as TreeTops Central Coast, which boasts challenging high-ropes courses and high-speed flying foxes. Drive about 40 minutes to the Australian Reptile Park and get up close with free-roaming kangaroos and unique native reptiles.
Getting around Toukley
Toukley is about one hour’s drive from Newcastle and 1.5 hours’ drive from Sydney. The town is connected to the rest of the Central Coast via public buses. You can walk around the centre of town or use a private vehicle to explore further.
