The beach is within walking distance of Ettalong Village, where you’ll find cafes, bakeries and antique shops. Shoppers are in luck at the Indoor Markets, a collection of small old-world markets that sell everything from salt lamps to incense, jewellery, toys and pottery. Unexpected delights include elaborate murals, gold-gilded walls, Baroque decor and an Elvis impersonator.

Getting around Ettalong beach
Ettalong Beach is 80 kilometres north of Sydney, with transportation via rail, bus and ferry boats from Palm Beach. To get around in Ettalong, you can hire a taxi or rent a car in Gosford, about 15 kilometres away.
