Things to do in Pefki
Head to Pefkos Beach to relax under the shade of a beach umbrella or visit one of the water sports centres for jet skiing or kitesurfing. You can also visit Lee Beach, which is a great place to go snorkeling.
Looking to mingle with the locals? Head to the local shopping bazaar to pick up a unique souvenir. You’ll find a range of local stallholders selling everything from sponges and olive oil to handmade jewelry and a variety of local wines.
Take a glass-bottom boat trip across the Aegean Sea to Lindos. The lovely whitewashed village has an aquamarine bay and maze of hidden valleys dotted with restaurants, bars, and cafes. Walk or take a donkey ride up to the Acropolis for stunning views of Greece.
Take a day trip to the capital, Rhodes Town, one hour’s drive outside of Pefkos. This Heritage-listed area is surrounded by Medieval walls and an impressive castle called the Palace of the Grand Master. Meander through the cobbled streets to discover boutiques and traditional craft shops.
Getting around Pefki
Pefkos is well-connected by a local bus system, while taxis and motorbikes are also available. Rhodes Airport is 37 kilometres away and ferries connect to Symi, Tilos and Bodrum.
