Originally opened in 1848 by the London and South Western Railway, London Waterloo Railway Station is a central terminus on the United Kingdom’s National Rail network. It’s located in the borough of Lambeth and connected to an Underground station of the same name, making it one of the busiest railway stations in the United Kingdom.
Admire the Victory Arch, which frames the main entrance and was added following World War I. Watch trains coming and going along the South Western, the West of England and the Portsmouth Direct lines or hop on a local commuter service to destinations across London.
Follow signs to the adjacent Waterloo Underground Station and connect along the Jubilee, Bakerloo and Northern lines. The London Waterloo Railway Station can be used to access the iconic London Eye and the bustling South Bank area, as well as the Edwardian Baroque-style County Hall.
