Things to do in Lake Conjola
If you want to go on an aquatic adventure, rent a boat, kayak or stand-up paddle board from Walking on Water and head out onto the ocean for a fun-filled afternoon in the sun. If you want to surf, take your board out to the renowned surf break at Green Island.
Want to see the area on two wheels? Go for a bike ride along the scenic trails in Conjola National Park on the north side of the lake or go mountain biking on the Monument Beach ride from Bendalong.
For a relaxing change of pace, stroll the Burrawang Track from Conjola Beach down to Buckley’s Point. You can wander through rare bangalay forests, tour a small patch of coastal rainforest or have a picnic down on Conjola Beach.
Plan a day trip to the Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve with the entire family. You can go hiking along beaches, through coastal forests and down scenic waterways. The Narrawallee Creek and Pattimoores Lagoon are also great areas for birdwatching.
Getting around Lake Conjola
Lake Conjola is less than three hours’ drive south of Sydney. The easiest way of getting around is by car or taxi, but you can also rent a bicycle.
