The history of the centre began in September 1996, with the opening of a new Target store, supermarket and 30 other specialty shops, which then developed in stages, finally completing in 1999 with the construction of the cinema. More recently, the centre underwent a multi-million redevelopment project in November 2014, significantly expanding the size of the building and adding thousands more car parking spaces.
