Balmoral Beach enjoys a postcard-perfect setting on Middle Harbour and is a fantastic place to swim, sunbathe and soak up the laidback Australian lifestyle. The main attraction is a gorgeous beach fringed by soft sand and crystalline water. You can cool off in the Pacific Ocean and stroll along the scenic esplanade.
At the southern end of the beach is a swimming zone protected by a shark net. Enjoy a picnic on the grassy foreshore or relax under the shade of a palm tree. You can't miss Balmoral Bathers Pavilion, a Heritage-listed building constructed in the 1920s. Today it's been reimagined as the excellent Bathers’ Pavilion restaurant. For casual fare, head to one of the local fish and chip shops.
Hire kayaks and stand-up paddleboards from Balmoral Sailing School. Across the harbour you can enjoy stunning views of the iconic Manly Beach and Sydney Harbour.
