The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre is located in Zone 1 near the coast of eastern Abu Dhabi. The venue boasts the largest convention centre in the Middle East, composed of both indoor and outdoor areas. The construction of the centre resulted in additional growth around the area including the Capital Centre and Capital Gate projects.
The ADNEC is the centralised venue for both national and international affairs including major meetings, exhibitions, and events. Multiple conference halls, plentiful meeting rooms, a banquet hall, and an impressive grandstand can accommodate thousands of people at one time without being overcrowded. The convention centre is equipped with helpful staff, services, and dining options for visitors, including the Central Cafe and Restaurant Seventysix.
The exhibition centre is located 20-minute east of downtown Abu Dhabi and 15-minute from the Abu Dhabi International Airport. ADNEC is serviced by Abu Dhabi’s extensive public transportation network including bus routes and a taxi service.
The ADNEC venue was first opened in 2007 by the President of the United Arab Emirates. The convention centre is operated by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company which oversees many other projects in the area including ExCeL London, the Al Ain Convention Centre, Capital Gate, and Capital Centre.
