Located just a stone’s throw from Germany’s border with France, Ringsheim is a historic village in the state of Baden-Württemberg. It was established around an 8th-century manor house and now serves as a charming base for enjoying the family-friendly attractions of Europa Park.
In the heart of Ringsheim is the Church of St. John the Baptist, a beautiful Baroque building constructed in the 1780s. Admire its gabled facade and elegant tower before stepping inside to see the stucco ornamentations. Adjacent to the church is a children’s playground and a fascinating local cemetery.
Ringsheim makes an ideal base for visiting Europa Park, which boasts more than 100 rides and attractions across its themed areas. You can brave the Silver Star roller coaster and step inside the rotatable gondolas of the Euro-Mir or fly above the park on the Volo da Vinci. Themed shows are held throughout the day.
