Overlooking a yacht-filled marina, Portals Nous is an attractive seaside town on the south-west coast of Mallorca. It’s a popular getaway destination for celebrities and socialites, as well as the Spanish royal family, who have a summer palace nearby.
Kick back on the sands of Playa de Portals Nous, which boasts crystal clear waters framed by rocky cliffs. Beach umbrellas and sun loungers are available for rent, while food and drinks are served with a view at Tabgha. Nestled just behind the beach is the stone-built Ermita de Portals Nous
On the edge of Portals Nous is Marineland Mallorca, which is the only dolphinarium on the island. In addition to showcasing the intelligence of dolphins and sea lions, the park features aquariums filled with sharks, sea turtles and fish species native to the Mediterranean Sea. Reptiles and amphibians inhabit the Tropical House, while turacos and lovebirds are a highlight of the Apiary.
