Porto Cristo has a proud seafaring past and is dotted with buildings that celebrate the town’s maritime heritage. Centuries-old Mare de Deu del Carme is dedicated to the patron saint of seafarers and features a beautiful limestone façade and barrel vault ceiling.

Getting around Porto Cristo
Porto Cristo is compact and easy to get around on foot. The town is located on the east coast of Mallorca, a 15-minute drive from Manacor and one hour from Palma. Rental cars are an easy way to visit Porto Cristo, while buses run between Palma and Porto Cristo in around one hour. Palma de Mallorca Airport is a one-hour drive away.
