Moscenicka Draga bursts with historic charm and is filled with beautiful villas and townhouses from the 19th century. A breezy promenade wraps around the bay and is dotted with open-air bars, cafes and seafood restaurants. Follow the stone staircase up the hillside to Moscenice, a medieval village and treasured cultural heritage site. Get lost in the maze of alleys and enjoy lunch at a traditional taverna.
The beaches in Moscenicka Draga are postcard-worthy, with white pebble sand and sparkling water. Sipar Beach offers sun loungers and parasol rentals, water sports and easy access to bars, cafes and restaurants along the promenade. The southern end is shaded by pine trees and has fantastic snorkelling. For a quieter scene, stroll along the promenade to Sv. Ivan Beach.
Satisfy your appetite for adventure and discover a unique landscape of coastal mountains and forests in Učka Nature Park. At more than 1,200 metres above sea level, Veliki Planik is the tallest peak in the park. Hike to the summit for sweeping views over Kvarner Bay and the surrounding mountains. Getting around Mošćenička Draga
Moscenicka Draga is compact and easy to get around on foot. The town is a 45-minute drive from Rijeka and 1.5 hours from Pula. Local buses run between Rijeka and Moscenicka Draga in one hour and Rijeka International Airport is a one-hour drive away.
