Overlooking the Adriatic Sea to the south of Crikvenica, Selce is a picturesque resort town opposite Krk Island. It’s home to several pebbly beaches where you can swim and sunbathe and is a short boat ride from reef and wreck dive sites.
Kick back on the pebbly shores of Poli Mora or Rokan Beach, where you’ll find shallow waters ideal for families with young children. Chairs and umbrellas are available for rent and there are several eateries backing the beaches where you can dine throughout the day. A short stroll from Rokan Beach is a miniature golf course.
If you prefer a more active holiday, you can participate in a range of water sports that include boating and paragliding or venture below the water’s surface with the Diving Center Mihurić. In addition to fun dives on nearby reefs and wrecks, they offer a variety of certification courses for both beginner and advanced divers.
Getting there
Selce is a 35-minute drive from Rijeka and 25 minutes from Rijeka Airport, which has seasonal flights to destinations across Europe. Buses connect Selce to towns and villages around Kvarner Bay while the village is small enough to explore on foot.
