Los Angeles International Airport commonly referred to as “LAX”, is California’s busiest airport. It serves around 80 million passengers per year with over 50,000 flights a month, with approximately 75 different airlines using this sprawling airport.
A free shuttle service, the LAX Shuttle, makes navigating this large airport possible even on limited time. The A route shuttles passengers between the nine terminals, while the C route goes to the airport’s main parking lot.
Los Angeles is known for its Neapolitan-meets-California pizza scene, and the presence of an 800 Degrees branch within the airport means you don’t need to miss out even if you don’t venture into the city. For a more upscale experience, dine on gourmet steaks at III Forks.
Getting there
The easiest way to get to the Los Angeles International Airport is to take a Metrolink train to the L.A. Union Station then transfers to the FlyAway bus, which will take you straight to the airport. Another option is to travel by train to the Aviation/LAX Station, where you’ll find a free shuttle to the airport.
