Business Bay, like its namesake, is the business capital of the city of Dubai, equipped with magnificent high-rises, commercial infrastructures, and teeming residential realms. Bay Avenue is the premiere dining, shopping, and entertainment region. It is a two-level building consisting of indoor and outdoor vending. The dominance of boutiques, restaurants, sporting facilities, showrooms, cafes, and play areas attribute to its commercial attraction. A unique aspect of the city is the podium that connects all 13 of the overlooking skyscrapers including a unique branching of the prominent 260 metre Vision Tower.
The Red Line of the Dubai Metro system is the most convenient form of transit into the area, ending at the Business Bay Station. Marine transit stations also line the Business Bay Canal as a part of the Dubai Water Canal Project.
Business Bay is a melting pot of commercial, residential, and retail elements. The initial construction of the area required the dredging and expanding of the Dubai Creek on which skyscrapers now stand. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid was the visionary behind the development that persists today.
