Wildlife safaris are a fantastic way to explore the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. Based in Murqquab, Platinum Heritage is one of Dubai's leading tour operators. From 4WD trips in vintage Land Rovers to camel trekking, you can choose your own adventure. Keep an eye out for wildcats, sand foxes, gazelles and elusive Arabian oryx.
Murqquab is also a fantastic place to experience Emirati culture, where you can spend the night at a traditional Bedouin camp in the heart of the desert. Cultural performances are on offer, along with sumptuous dinners followed by Arabic coffee and shisha pipes.
Thanks to its isolated desert location and lack of light pollution, Murqquab is a fantastic place to stargaze. Guided tours are an incredible way to discover the dazzling blanket of stars.
