Barcelona Airport is located about 40 kilometres north of Vilanova i la Geltru. Trains and buses travel regularly between the city and the airport, with taxis for hire and cars also available for rent. Although taxis are the easiest way of getting around Vilanova, much of the area can be explored on foot.
