Located just a stone’s throw from Cap de Ses Salines, Colonia Sant Jordi is a popular beachside resort near the southern tip of Mallorca. It centres around a sun-drenched beach and a lively harbour lined with alfresco cafes, restaurants and bars.
Spend your days relaxing on the sands of Platja d’Es Port, which lies adjacent to the harbour of Colonia Sant Jordi. Rent a sun lounger and umbrella or get active while sea kayaking. When it’s time to eat, you can refuel at the Auba Cafe or Restaurant S’Arrosseria.
Backing the beach is a palm-lined boardwalk where you can stroll in the evenings, with benches available for watching the world go by. Boat cruises depart daily for remote Isla Cabrera, which was used to house French prisoners in the early 19th century. Today, its coastal landscapes are protected as Cabrera National Park.
