Tribunj is a traditional town where you can relax on silver-pebble beaches, dine at waterfront restaurants and swim in the crystalline Adriatic Sea. The town is set on the sun-drenched Sibenik Riviera and combines Dalmatian charm with stunning landscapes.
Spend the day on Sovlja Beach, a sheltered lagoon with pebble sand and translucent water. Rent a sun lounger and relax under the shade of an umbrella or top up your tan in the sunshine. Walk across the centuries-old stone bridge to explore the Old Town, which occupies a small island and features a maze of narrow streets and alleys. Walk up St. Nicholas Hill for sweeping views over the town and sparkling Adriatic Sea.
Fresh seafood is easy to come by in Tribunj. Purchase mackerel, tuna and seabass directly from fishing boats docked in the harbour or dine at one of the many local taverns and “konoba” restaurants. Enjoy classic Dalmatian dishes like octopus salad, “brujet” fish stew and jet-black squid ink risotto.
