Dance the night away in Tisno, a flagship Croatian party destination on the Adriatic Sea. Enormous nightclubs, open-air discos and beachside music festivals attract throngs of summer partygoers to the seaside town. Beyond the legendary party scene, enjoy gorgeous beaches, jewel-toned water and easy access to gems like Krka National Park.
Things to do in Tisno
Summer sees a stretch of the coast known as The Garden transformed into a party HQ. International bands and DJs play sets on the famous main stage. Boats anchor off the beach and host champagne-soaked parties. Dance the night away under the stars and watch the sunrise over the Adriatic Sea. Open-air Barbarella’s Discotheque is another iconic Tisno venue. With space for 2500 partygoers, the atmosphere is electric.
Top up your tan on Strand Jazine. The beach is one of the most popular in the area and features honey-coloured pebbles sand and a paved promenade that’s perfect for sunbathing. Roll out your towel on the pavement or rent a sunlounger for the day. Cool off in the crystalline water and buy refreshments from the small café.
Book a boat tour and visit the beautiful Krka National Park. You can sail down the Adriatic Coast before turning into the Krka River. You’ll dock just outside Krka National Park, where you can discover a wonderland of lush forests, cascading waterfalls and crystalline natural pools.
From traditional taverns to stylish waterfront venues serving craft cocktails and ocean-fresh seafood, there are restaurants for every occasion in Tisno. Many serve Dalmatian favourites like black risotto flavoured with squid ink, “brudet” seafood stew and prosciutto dry-cured pork.
Getting around Tisno
Tisno is compact and easy to get around on foot. Taxis are a good way to cover longer distances, while water taxis are a fast and scenic way to travel along the coast. The town is in Northern Dalmatia, a one-hour drive from Zadar and 1.5 hours from Split. Zadar Airport is a one-hour drive away.
