One of Norway’s most popular family attractions, Hunderfossen Familiepark is an amusement park just north of Lillehammer. It’s home to roller coasters, rides and water attractions designed for all ages, as well as cultural activities based around Norwegian traditions and folk tales.
Marvel at the 14-metre-high troll guarding the entrance to Hunderfossen Familiepark, then gaze up at the soaring towers of the Fairytale Castle. Get your adrenalin pumping on the Tempo Extra Gigante roller coaster’s steep climbs and stomach-churning drops or enjoy a gentler family rafting adventure down the river rapids.
Travelling with young kids? There’s an indoor playhouse that’s accessible in all weather conditions and a toddler-friendly tractor ride, as well as numerous outdoor swimming pools where you can cool off in summer. You can watch “The Little Prince” in 4D in the Fairytale Theatre before dining among the trolls in Trollsalen Restaurant.
