Bjorli’s setting between the Romsdalen and Gudbrandsdalen Valleys makes it a great base for exploring nearby national parks. Discover pristine alpine landscapes in Reinheimen National Park, an outdoor lovers paradise laced with waymarked hiking trails. In Dovrefjell National Park, you’ll find tumbling waterfalls, majestic peaks and historic wooden cabins. There’s also a good chance to spot wild reindeer, arctic fox and musk oxen.
Winter snowfall transforms Bjorli into one of the top ski resorts in Innlandet. There are alpine slopes for every skill level, as well as more than 100 kilometres of groomed cross-country trails. Some start in the village centre, giving Bjorli ski in/ski out appeal. Kids love the bunny slopes and toboggan hill. You can also explore the mountains by snowmobile.
Getting there
Bjorli is compact and easy to get around on foot. Trains run between Bjorli and Oslo in around five hours while rental cars offer the freedom to explore the region at your own pace. Oslo Airport is a five-hour drive away.
