Oslo University Hospital has been caring for patients since 1887. The highly specialised hospital boasts state-of-the-art facilities and is one of the largest and most well-regarded hospitals in Europe. The director’s office occupies a handsome historic building with a honey-coloured façade and copper-domed clock tower. Oslo University Hospital features four campuses located across the city. Ullevål is the largest campus and is located a 10-minute drive from the Oslo city centre. The hospital is just steps from Ullevål Sykehus tram stop and Oslo Airport is a 45-minute drive away.
