Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) brings together an ensemble of immensely talented musicians, conductors and guest artists from the United States and around the world. Every year the CSO performs more than 100 concerts, ranging from classics by Vivaldi, Mozart and Piazzolla to contemporary recitals inspired by scores from Harry Potter and Star Wars.
Performances are held in the Symphony Centre, a magnificent Georgian concert hall built in 1904. The plush red velvet seats and crystal chandeliers create a regal atmosphere. Arrive early to enjoy pre-concert dining at Opus Restaurant and Café.
Visit the Symphony Store to browse CDs, books, jewellery and branded merchandise inspired by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. If you'd like to attend a free classical music concert, the Grant Park Orchestra performs at Millennium Park's iconic Pritzker Pavilion.
