Situated on the western shores of Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City is a small mountain town near California’s border with Nevada. It centres around a charming main street lined with boutiques, art galleries and restaurants and is a gateway for summer and winter recreational pursuits.
Stroll down the main street to explore rotating exhibits at nearby galleries, which include stunning photographic exhibitions of the surrounding area and paintings by local artists. Admire the Heritage-listed Watson Log Cabin, built in 1908, or grab a coffee at one of the restaurants.
