Stylish, historic and never dull, the streets of Soho are perpetually buzzing. Londoners flock here to sample the city’s most talked-about restaurants, browse luxury boutiques, catch the latest West End shows and experience London’s LGBTQ nightlife.
Give your credit card a workout on Carnaby Street, which is home to the iconic half-timbered department store, Liberty of London. Find a vintage guitar along “Tin Pan Alley” and spot risque shops hiding on Old Compton Street. You can watch a drag show at the old Admiral Duncan, Soho’s most famous LGBTQ pub.
In the evening, see a live band at the legendary Marquee Club, where The Rolling Stones played their first gig, or get your boogie on at London’s oldest jazz club, Ronnie Scotts. Indulge in Michelin-starred cuisine at Social Eating House or raise a glass at the French House, the region’s most historic pub with a long wine list.
