Swim, sunbathe and enjoy the infectious holiday atmosphere in Rewal. The lively village is set on the Baltic Sea and is fringed by a long stretch of golden sand. Relax on the beach and walk along the viewing platform for fantastic views across the Baltic Sea. It’s almost 20 metres long and is a great place to watch the sunset and enjoy an ice cream.
Walk around the village centre and admire public art installations, including a life-size metal whale skeleton by Polish artist, Wiktor Szostało. Sip espresso at sidewalk cafes and dine at atmospheric restaurants serving Polish specialties like “bigos” sauerkraut stew and “pierogi” dumplings stuffed with meat, cheese and potato.
Stroll along the beach to Trzęsacz and visit the ruins of the Church of St. Nicholas. The medieval church dates back to the 1100s and has been rebuilt several times over the centuries. A small museum features multimedia displays on the history of the church.
