Located in the far north of Poland, Jarosławiec is a laid-back seaside resort in the historic region of Pomerania. It boasts one of the most beautiful beaches on the Slovincian Coast and a historic lighthouse, plus an engaging museum dedicated to Baltic amber.
In the warmer months, you can enjoy a refreshing dip from Plaża Dubaj, a long, sandy beach with a series of breakwaters that protect bathers from the open sea. In addition to lively beach bars, there are fenced courts for playing beach volleyball. Nestled just inland from Jarosławiec are two lakes, Wicko and Kopań, that are popular with birdwatchers.
You can learn all about Baltic amber at the Muzeum Bursztynu, which features displays about how it is created and mined. Many of the exhibits are hands-on and interactive, plus there is an impressive collection of amber artwork. Nearby is Jarosławiec’s historic brick lighthouse, which offers views across the Baltic Sea from its balcony.
