Reaching Repulse Bay from central Hong Kong is easy. There are frequent bus services which operate from Exchange Square bus terminal near MTR Hong Kong Station. This bus transports visitors to the stop at Repulse Bay Beach. The journey takes around 50 minutes by bus, alternatively, opt to travel by taxi which takes 20 minutes.
Repulse Bay was an area frequented by pirates during the 1800s, and during the 1900s the bay beach was constructed.
