Located on Phillip Island overlooking Cunningham Bay, the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is Australia’s biggest stage for Grand Prix racing action, often hosting the sprint round of the championship, known as the Phillip Island Super Sprint. Along with the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, the course hosts the Australian Superbike Championship, Victoria State Circuit Racing Championship and Australian Production Car Series.
Looking for some family-friendly racing fun? Head to the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit for high-speed go-karting. You can also get into the passenger seat of a high-powered vehicle while a professional driver zips you around the circuit during the Hot Lap experience. Alternatively, take the Guided Circuit Tour to see off-limit areas, including the Control Tower, Media Centre and Pit Lane.
The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit also hosts regular drive and ride days, where you can practice racing or test drive a BMW. You can also visit the Simulator Race Centre for an authentic racing experience or enjoy some enthralling slot car racing.
Getting there
The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is just under two hours’ drive from Melbourne where you can fly into Melbourne Airport. You can also get to Phillip Island using ferries or Victorian buses.
