Philharmonic Hall is one of the most beautiful buildings in Liverpool, welcoming music lovers with an elegant Art Deco façade and grand proportions. The Grade II listed building is home to the prestigious Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society, who perform a diverse playbill ranging from chamber music and symphonies to contemporary film scores. There’s also an excellent program geared towards families.
In addition to performances by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society, the hall hosts jazz quartets, flamenco guitarists, touring pop singers and other acts. Arrive early to enjoy a drink in the stylish Grand Foyer Bar. Music workshops for children and adults are a fantastic way to enrich your visit to Philharmonic Hall.
Within Philharmonic Hall, a memorial plaque commemorates the legacy of musicians who lost their lives when the Titanic sank in 1912. You can also admire beautiful Art Deco glass door panels decorated with musical instruments.
