Considered Victoria’s most accessible alpine resort, Mount Buller Ski Resort is a popular winter sports destination in the state’s east. It centres around the restaurants and entertainment facilities of Mount Buller Village and offers everything from skiing and snowboarding to dog sledding and mountain biking.
If you’re visiting in the winter months, you can hit the skiing and snowboarding trails of the Mount Buller Ski Resort, which offers around 300 hectares of terrain. Over 20 lifts will transport you to the winter sports area, including a high-speed six-seater express lift. In addition to three terrain parks, there are also two toboggan parks and an ultra-cross course.
At the end of the day, you can dine at one of the restaurants or bars that cluster in Mount Buller Village or indulge in a relaxing treatment at Australia’s highest day spa. The Mount Buller Ski Resort is also home to the National Alpine Museum of Australia, which details the cultural and sporting history of the region.
