Stroll around the harbour of Lillesand to explore its art galleries and boutiques, then admire the whitewashed wooden houses in the town centre. Take note of the historic Lillesand Hotel Norge, a famous local landmark that was once frequented by the Norwegian author Knut Hamsun. After visiting the Swiss chalet-style Lillesand Church, you can dine on freshly caught seafood at the renowned Hos Oss restaurant.

Lillesand is a 30-minute drive from Kristiansund and Kristiansand Airport, which has flights to destinations across Europe. Buses connect from Lillesand to towns and villages across the region while the centre of Lillesand is compact enough to explore on foot.
