Friged by a sandy beach, Fevik is a lively town with a Mediterranean feel. The village is set on the picturesque Skaggerak Coast and is a great place to relax, soak in the sunshine and enjoy the holiday atmosphere. Storesand Beach is a local favourite, with soft sand, clear water and a grassy foreshore that’s ideal for picnics and barbecues.
Built by the Germans during World War II, Sandodden Fort is perched at the tip of a rocky headland. It was built to protect the famous Strand Hotel, where you can enjoy a drink on the terrace after wandering around the fort. Further north, scenic Raet National Park is laced with hiking trails that wind through wild beech forest.
The 18-hole Grimstad Golf Club is set among rolling hills and lush coastal forests. Book a tee time or head to the driving range to practice your swing. The small but cosy clubhouse is great for post-golf refreshments.
