Chairlifts whisk you up different peaks and make it easy to explore the resort, while summit views stretch all the way to Beirut on clear days. Challenge yourself on advanced trails or take it slow on a family-friendly hill. There’s a dedicated area for kids, plus off-piste activities like cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ziplining.
Travel back in time at the Faqra Roman Ruins. Enormous Doric columns tower over the rocky landscape and offer a glimpse of the ancient civilisations that once lived in the area. Walk around the ruins of a temple dedicated to a Phoenician goddess and peer into gloomy rock tombs. The highest points command breathtaking views over the surrounding peaks and valleys.
Stretch your legs on the trail around Chabrouh Dam. The rocky path loops around the reservoir and takes you past scenic lookouts. Climb up to the upper trail for spectacular views over the turquoise water and honey-coloured rocks. Pack lunch and enjoy a picnic under the shade of an enormous cedar tree.
