El Rancho Vida is a slice of the Wild West in the heart of the Ghodras Hills. The family-friendly resort and theme park offers on-site accommodation, as well as a constellation of activities. Saddle up for a day of horseback riding, test your aim on the archery range, zoom around on a Segway and roast marshmallows around the bonfire. Activities like abseiling, ziplining and paintballing appeal to adventure seekers.
From Ghodras, you can easily spend the day exploring Jabal Moussa UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The protected nature reserve is set on the slopes of the Mount Lebanon range and is home to more than 130 species of migratory birds. Spot the black kite, booted eagle, crested lark and more. Hiking trails wind through the mountains and are the best way to explore the reserve. Hire a guide to discover hidden attractions like crystal-clear natural pools and ancient Roman archaeological sites.
Head west to spend the day sunbathing and swimming on the Mediterranean coast. There are some great public beaches scattered along the coast, as well as upmarket resorts where you can rent sun loungers and sip cocktails.
Ghodras is peppered with restaurants where you can enjoy delicious Lebanese cuisine. Try tabbouleh salad made with chopped parsley and bulgur wheat, creamy hummus, “muhammara” roasted red pepper dip and “lahm bi ajin” pizza. For dessert, indulge in locally made fig rolls.

Ghodras is located in the Keserwan District, a one-hour drive from Beirut. Rental cars offer the freedom to explore surrounding sights and attractions at your own pace. Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport is a one-hour drive away.
