Fusing martial arts with acrobatics and comedy, Jump is a top brand Korean performance acclaimed and well-reviewed around the globe. After award-winning shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and an appearance at the Royal Variety Show, they’ve been presenting their show “Jump” at their home theatre in Seoul.
It’s a story of one very unusual family and their house being broken into by a band of thieves who are soon to discover that the occupants are all highly skilled in martial arts. See the combination of Taekwondo and Asian martial arts in action, with a good dose of comedy and dance thrown in by all vivid animated characters.
Don’t speak Korean? No problem, as Jump show is completely non-verbal and will captivate both adults and children alike. The show has been described as “Charlie Chaplin meets Jackie Chan”, with a distinctly Korean flavour.
Getting there
The Jump Theater is a five-minute walk from the Chungmuro and Euljiro-3-ga subway stations, which are on the orange both and green or blue subway lines respectively. Incheon International Airport is just over an hour by train from the theatre.
