Fukuoka Dome is the official home of the SoftBank Hawks, the city's much-loved baseball team. The enormous venue can accommodate over 38,000 spectators and is topped by a retractable roof. These features make it one of Japan's biggest and most advanced sport stadiums.
For the ultimate Fukuoka Dome experience, score tickets to a SoftBank Hawks match. Don't forget to stock up on ice-cold Asahi beer and Japanese hot dogs. If you're not in the city for a game, sign up for a guided tour of the stadium to get behind-the-scenes access to the locker rooms, commentary box and VIP section.
You can also visit the small on-site museum, which spotlights the legacy of Oh Sadaharu. The retired Japanese baseball player holds the world record for the most home runs, hitting a total of 868 during his professional career. The museum celebrates his success with photos, jerseys, baseballs and memorabilia.
