Cabo Negro is a sun-drenched beach resort fringed by golden sand and lofty palms. Also known as Golf Beach, it’s popular with weekends from Tétouan. Sunbathe on the beach, swim in the jewel-toned Mediterranean Sea and book a tee time at Cabo Negro Royal Golf Club, the resort’s signature course.
Rent a sunlounger and umbrella on Plage de Cabo Negro or roll out your towel on the honey-coloured sand. A palm-lined promenade stretches along the beach and is perfect for sunset strolls, while you’ll find a good mix of cafes and restaurants just steps from the beach. Rehydrate with a cup of Moroccan mint tea and order classic seafood dishes such as “bastilla” pie filled with fish, shrimp and calamari.
Cabo Negro Royal Golf Club was laid out in the 1970s by famous American golf course architect Cabell B. Robinson and features rolling green fairways and stunning ocean views. Lush agave succulents and flower-covered mimosa trees surround the 18-hole course and add to the Mediterranean scenery.
