Winter Park is comprised of brick-paved streets where you’ll find boutique shops, farmers markets and art galleries. Shop for treasures along Park Avenue, visit a historic theatre or soak in the area’s natural beauty at one of the gorgeous parks and gardens.
Things to do in Winter Park
Start your journey in Winter Park at the eight-block Park Ave shopping area, which is considered the city’s main artery and is lined with everything from one-of-a-kind boutiques to Lilly Pulitzer. Take a stroll down the picturesque cobblestone streets and stop for coffee at one of the outdoor cafes or pizza at the posh Prato restaurant.
Held at the historic train depot on Saturday mornings, Winter Park Farmers Market is one of the most popular markets in Orlando. Browse the local vendors to find organic fruits and vegetables, fresh flowers and plants and homemade baked goods.
For a dose of culture, visit Charles Hosmer Morse Museum, where you can browse the world’s most comprehensive collection of works by Louis Comfort Tiffany, from designer jewellery to pottery and paintings. The Enzian Theater is nearby, where you can catch independent films in its single-screen cinema cafe.
Soak up the sunshine at Central Park and admire its four hectares of green lawns, fountains and oak trees. Nature enthusiasts should put Mead Gardens on their to-do list, as the 19-hectare park features bike trails and floral displays in the butterfly garden.
