Occupying a tract of ancient woodland in Kent, the Wildwood Discovery Park is home to more than 50 species of native animals. In addition to functioning as a wildlife viewing destination, the trust aims to protect British wildlife species while conserving the park’s sweet chestnut, silver birch, and English oak woodlands.
Wander along the meandering trails to spot native deer, badgers, and wild boar, then observe wolves, foxes and wild horses housed in natural enclosures. The Wildwood Discovery Park is also home to reindeer, beavers, and squirrels and features daily animal talks and feedings where you can get up close.
Traveling with the family? After witnessing the diverse array of animals at the Wildwood Discovery Park, kids can enjoy the on-site adventure play park which boasts the tallest slide in Kent. Grab a coffee at the Beaver Lodge Cafe or relax in the spacious picnic area nearby.
