Get up close with warbirds at the Tillamook Air Museum. The enormous museum is housed in a cavernous blimp hangar and showcases an impressive collection of aircraft. Marvel at a PT-17 Stearman biplane, F-4 Phantom bomber and a Bell TH-57 helicopter. You’ll also see fire trucks, ambulances and military Jeeps on display.
Go behind the scenes of a working dairy farm at Tillamook Creamery. From butter, milk and cheese to ice cream, the farm has been making premium dairy products for more than a century. Learn about the process in the exhibit hall and watch employees working hard in the viewing gallery. Downtown Tillamook is compact and easy to get around on foot. You’ll need a car to visit surrounding sights and attractions and explore the Oregon Coast at your own pace. Portland International Airport is a two-hour drive away.
