Things to do in Tenerife
For a day of fun in the sun, visit Siam Park, regarded as one of the world’s best water parks. Enjoy a backdrop of stunning Thai architecture, speed down the Naga Racer, explore Sawasdee with the little ones or go surfing in the Wave Palace.
If you’re an animal lover, head to Loro Parque. Check out the lions in the Lion’s Kingdom, view the blacktip reef sharks and jellyfish residing in AquaViva and explore a variety of coloured birds flitting around the Katandra Treetops.
Spend a day out in nature at Teide National Park, a World Heritage Site located in the centre of the island. Explore the landscape of craters, volcanoes and streams of lava and check out the Teide Volcano, the highest peak on the Canary Islands situated at more than 3,700 metres above sea level.
To relax and unwind, go to Playa Del Duque. Rent a sunbed and an umbrella to spend the afternoon with your toes in the sand, go for a swim or a paddle and divide the day with a quick trip to the nearby Duque shopping centre.
